Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need a continuous internet connection to take orders?
No. The DineForge terminal runs on a local offline engine. If your internet connection drops, you can keep taking orders and printing kitchen tickets normally. The data will sync back up to the cloud automatically once the connection is restored.
How long does it take to migrate our existing menus and stock data?
Most restaurants are fully up and running in under 48 hours. On our Pro and Enterprise plans, your dedicated account manager handles uploading your menus and migrating your stock ledgers for you.
Can we connect our existing receipt printers and cash drawers?
Yes. DineForge integrates with standard thermal printers (Epson, Star Micronics, and generic ESC/POS networks) alongside standard RJ11 cash drawer hardware configurations.
Are there transaction fees or margins taken on our sales volumes?
Never. DineForge charges a predictable monthly flat subscription fee. We don't take a percentage cut of your sales or charge sneaky transactional processing margins.
How do multi-store branch inventory transfers work?
A branch manager logs an outbound inventory transfer request. Once the receiving branch manager confirms the stock has arrived, the system updates the inventory levels across both locations automatically.
